Home > Cottages > Villa ChayaNestled in a sheltered valley and surrounded by beautiful Mallorcan countryside, Villa Chaya is a charming renovated farmhouse that’s also within easy reach of historical Pollensa town.
There are so many original features that have been preserved at Villa Chaya. Throughout this holiday home, you’ll find terracotta floor tiles, wooden beams and antique furniture in most of the rooms. These work with the range of modern facilities to create a villa that’s full of rustic character as well as contemporary convenience.
To the ground floor is a light and spacious living room. Several comfortable sofas mean that there’s space for everyone to enjoy evenings spent chatting and watching films. A wood-burning stove within a feature fireplace is the attractive point of focus in the room.
Within the entrance hall is the dining area, with a table that seats up to six people and plenty of fascinating traditional Mallorcan artefacts. The fitted kitchen has a lovely farmhouse feel and everything you need to make your stay convenient and comfortable, including a dishwasher, washing machine and a room.
There are also two bedrooms on this floor. One has a double bed and enjoys lovely views over the garden: the other features twin beds and an ensuite bathroom. There’s also a large family bathroom for use by all guests.
A stone staircase takes you up to the first floor. Here you’ll find the master bedroom that’s a perfect size and takes up the whole level. It has a double bed, ensuite bathroom and many large windows that flood the entire space with light.
The villa is set within extensive and picturesque grounds. To the exterior is a partially-covered terrace with outdoor dining furniture for enjoying al fresco meals.
There’s also a built-in barbecue and small table with chairs close by, making it the perfect place to relax with a pre-dinner drink as you soak up the mountain views and idyllic atmosphere. Also within the plot is a private swimming pool with a selection of sun loungers and some comfortable seating on the adjoining terrace.
Dotted around the area are some exotic trees and plants, with even more to be found within the well-cared-for gardens. You do have your very own slice of the lush Mallorcan countryside to enjoy here.
