This attractive 3-bedroom villa lies around 7km from Torrox and 10km from the popular Torrox Costa coastal strip, east of Málaga. Its quiet location in the countryside is ideal for a peaceful break, and you have a gorgeous private pool and terrace all to yourselves too.
The house enjoys a beautiful natural setting, with views of the hills and countryside from its magnificent terrace and outdoor areas, which include covered seating areas and a roof terrace. A superbly positioned outdoor lounge area, as well as hammocks, dining space and a barbecue give you lots of options for relaxing and entertaining. The 6m x 4m swimming pool is equally impressive, and available year-round.
Inside, Villa Lilo features a light, modern living space with TV, seating, air-conditioning and a wood-burning stove. There is more room to dine with seating for six at a stylish dining table, and the kitchen is similarly well-appointed with wooden units, a dishwasher, fridge freezer, oven and ceramic hob.
Three bedrooms include a double and two twin rooms, making this villa a good family choice. Each is kept cool with either a fan or air-conditioning, and one has its own en suite bathroom. A second bathroom is also available.
Torrox itself is a reasonably sized inland village with a pretty centre, and it lies around 40 minutes’ drive from Málaga city. The costa which shares its name is around 4km from the village and is known for its lighthouse and Blue Flag El Peñoncillo beach. Its Paseo Maritimo promenade is the place to be for dining out and entertainment, and for shopping you may come across some traditional street markets, especially in summer.
Torrox Costa hasn’t become too overdeveloped as a holiday resort, so for a wider choice of things to see and do, it’s well worth making the drive to Málaga, where there are regular events and fiestas. On the way, you could also stop at Rincón de la Victoria or the beautiful beach of the town’s neighbour, La Cala del Moral.
