Porto Sani

In 2020, Sani introduced the #OnlyatSani Protocol, their dynamic commitment to guest health and safety for luxury escapes. With discrete, yet thorough measures throughout the resort operations, they were able to deliver on their promise of a Covid-safe environment, and the Sani Sanctuary was born. They welcomed 9,000 guests to enjoy the safety and freedom of their natural surroundings, with zero cases of Covid all season. Their 100% successful, all-tested environment employed world-class health and safety measures, including a professional medical team and on-site testing, to create a protected space for all their guests to enjoy with total peace of mind.

Testing of Guests & Employees

As part of Sani Resort’s new protocol, molecular COVID testing will be carried out for employees before the opening of the hotels, and on a periodical basis following the opening. While guests will be advised to be tested prior to arrival at Sani Resort, complimentary Rapid Antibody tests for guests will be offered through a quick and comfortable process, and non-invasive temperature measuring devices will be available.

Adjusted Services

Although the Sani experience may look a little different they have gone the extra mile to ensure it feels the same. Dynamic enhancements to daily operations mean that all activities onsite are protected, and a technology-driven contactless experience ensures an easy stay so you can enjoy the same Sani Magic in the great outdoors and the unique setting of Sani Resort. In accordance with guidelines, some activities will not operate, some facilities will be closed, and others have been adjusted accordingly.

Arrival & Transportation

Protective measures and equipment ensure your safe transfer to the resort, while adapted public areas provide for effective social distancing with reduced points of access and limited dedicated entrances. Transfer from airport is carried out only with guests of the same room permitted per car or minibus which are thoroughly disinfected after each use.

Guest Rooms

Guest rooms are disinfected and deep cleaned with hospital-grade aerial surface disinfection machine, while amenities include PPE Safety Kit providing masks and hand sanitisers, stringent water testing, A/C cleaning, disinfection for every room change and contactless in-room dining service. All in-room print collaterals are replaced by digital documents & services via the Sani App.

Dining

A La Carte dining, open air restaurants and bars along with contactless menus and table service mean that the renowned Sani dining experience remains intact. Measures include restaurant capacity reduction enabling ample social distancing, sanitization of all facilities and measures compliance by all staff. Enjoy luxury Al Fresco private dining, available anywhere you can imagine.

Beaches & Pools

7 idyllic beaches, azure, shallow waters and 7 km of soft silky sand within a private landscape that’s never overcrowded.  All beach beds and lounge chairs are spaced at least 4m apart, giving you an area all to yourselves. Sunbeds, pool areas and equipment are disinfected while increased water quality controls take place.

Leisure Activities

Eco activities in the pine forest and bird sanctuary add to the exceptional standard of outdoor living and wellness available. Guests can take advantage of our open-air gym spaces and fitness programmes,while Sani Academies and the Sani Adventure Park will operate with a limited number of participants. Spas are to be used by appointment only, with all spaces sanitized after each use. Kids clubs, baby sitting and children activities will follow a monitored operation with digital pre-bookings and following all precautionary measures, protective equipment & sanitizing protocol processes.
