Situated between Pera and Lagoa, just a short distance from Carvoeiro, this villa provides the perfect secluded getaway, while maintaining convenient proximity to the bustling Algarve. Both Pera and Lagoa are just short drives away, and are lovely Portuguese towns with cafes, bars, restaurants, supermarkets and more than a few ice-cream shops.
The charming town of Carvoeiro is just 13km away; with some of the most stunning beaches on the Algarve in the vicinity, Carvoeiro is a beach-lovers’ dream. There is a fantastic range of restaurants, bars and amenities amongst the traditional whitewashed buildings of its centre, and beautiful sightseeing opportunities in all directions. Rugged cliff and secluded coves give the beaches of Carvoeiro plenty of character, with unusual rock formations that have become attractions themselves. You can take a boat trip to see the caves of Praia de Benagil, where a circular ‘eye’ opening gives way to a small beach hidden inside.
The nearest beach is Armação de Pêra, located just 8km from the villa. Praia de Carvoeiro, slightly further but by no means a large distance away, is the main beach of Carvoeiro and is sheltered by dominating cliff faces on either side, local bars and cafes just a few steps away in case you need a cool beverage. Walking tours will provide perfect vistas of the ocean and will most likely lead you to Fort of Senhora da Conceição dating back to the 17th century. Casa Anja is a particularly lovely choice of villa; surrounded by vineyards, it retains a sense of seclusion, while also being in close proximity to several towns nearby.
