Once a fishing village, Cala Sant Vicenc is one of Mallorca’s smaller resorts, and is home to three beaches: Cala Molins, Cala Barques and Cala Clara. The landscape is dramatic and hilly, with rugged cliffs and rocks, and its popularity with visitors has seen it develop some excellent restaurants, tapas bars and useful amenities.
Cala Sant Vicenc is just north of Pollença, where the pretty old town and laidback atmosphere is well worth discovering. Its neighbouring port, Puerto de Pollença offers water-sports, a water park for children and more attractive beaches, and a golf course can also be found just outside the town. This region of Mallorca, on the north-eastern coast is easy to access, less than one hour’s drive from Palma Airport.
