All your accommodation is arranged on the ground floor, with the master bedroom boasting an en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom – featuring twin beds and main bathroom, are located off the lounge, which leads on to the well-equipped kitchen. The whitewashed walls and conical ceiling spaces are painted white, and along with the ancient yet ingenious design, help to keep Trullo Panero cool, even during the hot summer months.

Your charming al fresco dining terrace sits conveniently off the kitchen, complete with table and chairs and dappled shade thanks to an array of Mediterranean trees and plants. The luxuries of this outside space feel all the more indulgent, as you step out of a five-hundred-year-old trullo in the middle of rural Italy. Your private pool is attractively shaped and surrounded by a stone terrace and wall, creating an intimate, courtyard feel. Most of your time will be spent swimming and playing in the pool, but when it’s time to dry off, there’s a sun lounger for everyone and plenty of shade.
