Nestled in beautiful surroundings, Villa Beatriu is only 5 km away from San Rafael. A 10-minute drive will take you to the village with its range of amenities and restaurants.
Famous for its pottery shops, San Rafael is the only zone on the island to be declared an artisan zone for craftsmanship. You can browse and buy ceramics made using methods barely changed for thousands of years. A beautiful whitewashed church has stood in the village since the late 18th-century and gives breathtaking views over the area, all the way to Ibiza Town. It’s a great place to come for an evening meal out, with a wide selection of restaurants serving a number of cuisines.
Figueretas Beach is around a 20-minute drive away and is a family-friendly spot to enjoy a day out by the sea. The golden sands are backed by an attractive promenade that’s dotted with palm trees and a good selection of restaurants and bars. There are ideal conditions for swimming, thanks to the clear and calm waters. Relax on the beach, take a hired kayak out on the sea or go on a boat trip to the small island of Formentera.
The island’s capital, Ibiza, is a short walk from Figueretas Beach or just under a 20-minute drive south from the villa. The city has a modern part, with the historical area of Dalt Vila overlooking it. An ancient citadel, its winding streets are home to some fascinating art galleries and museums. Enjoy boutique shops and café culture in the more recent development, with plenty to keep the children entertained.
