Villa Bricia’s secluded and rural location provides the perfect escape from it all. It’s a quiet and relaxing retreat for all the family to enjoy, with extensive grounds and unspoilt views.
Staying at Villa Bricia will feel like heaven for country-walk lovers, with access to the wild countryside and mountainous areas on the doorstep. The Ternelles Valley features mountain pathways through into woodlands that offer plenty of bird watching opportunities.
The nearest town is Pollensa, around 5 km away. It’s a quaint place to soak up the local atmosphere, do some sightseeing and stock up on essentials. It’s an ancient town, having been originally founded during the early 13th century.
The old town area dates back to the 18th century and is packed with narrow, winding streets and fascinating buildings. Must-visits include the Roman bridge that takes you into the old town itself and Puig de Pollenca, a medieval chapel and watchtower that’s a brisk uphill walk from the centre of town. There are also several modern art galleries well worth a stroll around.
Around a 10-minute drive out from Pollensa town centre, or a 20-minute drive from the villa, is a great beach. Puerto Pollensa has a vast stretch of golden sand that’s perfect for enjoying a family day out by the sea.
The waters here are calm and shallow, making them ideal for the children to swim in. There are plenty of sun loungers and cafés available, so you certainly won’t struggle to find places to relax or find something delicious to eat for lunch. Hire some dinghies or a pedalo for splashing about on the water.
