For a day on the beach, there are endless strips of sand to choose from, all within a short drive or for the energetic a 45-minute walk away. Praia da Marinha is just a 15-minute drive where you can take in the dramatic views from the clifftops on a trekking trail. From the pristine beach a cave leads you through to the 'hidden' Praia do Buraco!

Although there are a few facilities in the immediate area, the best shops and restaurants can be found a short drive away in Carvoeiro. Once a small fishing village, Carvoeiro has developed into a popular tourist town that boasts banks, restaurants, shops and a post office. From the town a clifftop boardwalk takes you to the Algar Seco rock formation and you can arrange a boat tour, gaining a different perspective on the rocky landscapes that make up this beautiful coastline.

Well known for its excellent wines and delicious food, we would always recommend exploring the Algarve’s popular gastronomy! From fresh seafood to Portuguese delicacies, there are plenty of dining opportunities to entice every guest, or you can always purchase some freshly caught seafood, preparing it back at the villa yourselves!

From the laid-back vibes of sea-side towns and beaches nearby to the busy nightlife and bustling streets of Albufiera just 30-minutes away, Villa Stefania offers a fantastic base for exploring all the vibrancy the Algarve has to offer.
