The pretty and popular Ano Mera village enjoys a traditional, rustic-chic vibe. It is especially popular for Sunday brunch and its local produce market. The beautiful, restored Panagia Tourlaina Monastery sits just off the square and is atmospheric and stunning.
Paradise Beach Club has won awards for being one of the best clubs worldwide and has attracted the likes of Tiesto to play exclusive and massive sets. It is an all-day party destination and celebrates 50 years of history. Mykonos has been extremely popular since the Fifties and Sixties when stars of the day such as Brigitte Bardot and Jackie Onassis fell in love with it. The hippies then fell for its charms.
Next door to Paradise Beach is the lovely Paraga Beach which boasts amazing views of the island of Delos as well as gorgeous fine sand and lively restaurants and bars. The organised sunbeds and parasols and beach bars create a gorgeous summer scene.
