Once a sleepy fishing village, nearby Carvoeiro now has all the amenities you need; shops, banks, post office, English speaking doctors, the delightful fresh seafood restaurants, bars, and nightlife.

Carvoeiro is renowned for its dramatic cliffs and coves, and its centuries-old caves, which you can visit by boat. Perhaps you would like to attend a winery and taste some of the local vino.

Portimão wine is renowned, a consequence of Algarve’s various soil and unique climate beloved of tourists and vine trees alike – never too hot, never too cold. The closest beach is situated 3km away from the villa.

From the coast you can take boat excursions from Portimão´s harbour including dolphin watching; or going inland you will find the Monchique and Foia mountains, nearly a kilometre high at their zenith.
