Elafonissi beach is also just one hour south of the villa, voted one of the top 10 beaches in the world – so definitely worth a visit!
Kissamos is a small yet bustling town offers everything you may need during your stay, with lots of shops, cafeteria and tavernas positioned along the seafront. If you are looking for a more adventurous expedition, then you can take a boat trip to the uninhabited pirate island of Gramvouse, spending the day swimming, snorkelling and exploring the ruins of the Venetian Fortress! The boat will also take you to Balos bay, a beautiful place with warm shallow waters and beautiful pink sand! For the even more adventurous, you can walk the famous Samaria Gorge, which at 17km is the longest in Europe.
When you stay in Crete, the easiest thing is finding delicious places to eat! The restaurants range from traditional tavernas to intimate seafront dining and fine-dining rooftop terraces.
