Head to popular Reduit Beach, where banana boats whiz across the water and beach front bars pump out lively music. It’s also home to Splash Island Water Park, an essential excursion for kids of all ages. Venturing slightly further afield, avid hikers will love to head to the dramatic twin peaks of Gros Piton and Petit Piton 41km south, a breath-taking UNESCO World Heritage site on the southwest of the Island. You can also access this area by boat which makes for an adventure in itself. For the more serene, simply soak in the mud beneath the Sulphur Springs nearby Gros Piton which, if legend prevails, will make you look ten years younger! And no trip to St Lucia is complete without visiting the 19,000 acres of spectacular rainforest just 20km inland. Hike its awe-inspiring trails, take the aerial tram above the canopy or for the more adventurous try your hand at the adrenaline-pumping ziplines.
