Crestatx is a small, traditional village surrounded by wonderful countryside. The nearest town is Sa Pobla, but it is very close also to both Alcudia and Pollensa. It is only approximately 45 minutes from the airport. Palma, the capital, is a gorgeous city and definitely worth a visit. The stunning cathedral has amazing views from the roof terrace and is extremely beautiful.
Whether you are in the cobbled streets of the atmospheric old town, or in the heart of the grand plazas, impressive monuments, museums, galleries or churches of Gothic splendour, you will appreciate the beauty and majesty of Palma. The halls of seafood, fruit and vegetables at Olivar Market are a sight to see.
The Caves of Drach at Porto Cristo are incredible with an underground lake. It is so magical, and you will definitely need to get your cameras ready! The short boat trip is so much fun after hearing a classical concert performed by a quartet on a boat.
The sea could not get any bluer than at the spectacular Formentor and Puerto Pollensa beaches. They really are breathtaking, and many watersports and boat trips can be taken. Pollensa has done a really good job of mixing beautiful architecture with cosmopolitan and traditional tourist interests. You will see modern art galleries mingling with chic restaurants and Roman and Medieval ruins.
The 365 Calvari Steps lead from the Placa Major to the top of the town where you can enjoy the awesome views and visit the lovely little church. Like Pollensa, Alcudia’s Medieval Old Town is so atmospheric with charming cobbled streets, ancient ruins, a fabulous open-air market and wonderful restaurants and bars
You do not need to know your way around a saddle to enjoy a day of horse riding at Rancho Grande. It is the ultimate way to take in Mallorca’s rural beauty. You can join horse-riding excursions in the forest and also on the beach.
Valldemossa is situated in an idyllic valley in the midst of the dramatic Tramuntana Mountains and is a slice of Mediterranean paradise. This lovely village is steeped in old-world charm. It's ancient, blonde, stone houses contrast vividly with the surrounding lush green forests of olive, almond and oak trees and the blue sky above. The picturesque streets are littered with shops, art galleries, cafes and restaurants. Doorways are sprinkled with pretty plants and flowers. It is so stunning to visit and is the doorway to many trails through the wooded hillsides.
