If you are looking for somewhere more bustly then head to Xi beach, this long beach is known for its dramatic white rocky cliff backdrop and its red sand. The water here is clear and shallow ideal for swimming and for the little ones to splash about in. The on-site facilities include a variety of bars, restaurants and watersports.

Lixouri is the main town on the Paliki peninsula and can be reached in under 20 minutes by car. Here you will find plenty of shops, supermarkets, restaurants, cafes and bars. This charming town's main attractions include Iakovatios Library and museum, the Philharmonic School, Agios Charalambos church and the statue of the poet Andreas Laskaratos. Don't forget to take a stroll to the port and pause in the main town square for some lunch and to watch the world go by.
The Monastery of Kipoureon is located at an 18-minute drive from the villa and is well worth a visit. This 17th-century monastery constructed on a cliff edge 90 metres above sea level offers magnificent views of the coastline and sea. The monastery is home to several important religious artefacts, and the gardens are a nice place to take a stroll. The yard is a great spot to stop and watch the sunset over the Ionian Sea, a sight you won't want to miss.
