The charm of Ferragudo is prevalent throughout. The village itself is framed by raw nature and a beautiful coastline, with everything guests might need on-hand such as banks, post office, and supermarkets. From here it not only leads back to Areia, but also to neighbouring villages where there is much more to explore! Venturing out locally, you can enjoy the coast from the Atlantic sea and with regular boat excursions taking place from Portimão´s harbour you can visit the century-old caves. Going inland you will find the Monchique and Foia mountains with its highest point standing at more than nine hundred meters high.
You can also find fantastic golf courses, equitation centres, tennis courts and water parks in nearby proximity. While Zoomarine Albufeira, water park being the furthest away of twenty -three kilometres, you can find boat hire, and a variety of water sports are available within a few kilometres.
