Villa Raiz

Villa Raiz is located in the quaint and picturesque village of Jesus and is situated just five minutes away from Ibiza Town. Jesus is a residential village with a plethora of lovely dining options, though the village is lovely to simply just walk around.

The village is known for being home to some of the world’s wealthiest who live up high in the hills in what’s known as "millionaires row." The Church of Nostra Mare de Jesus is one of the village’s most famous features and is worth seeing for its years of culture and history.

The whitewashed parish church dates all the way back to the mid 15th century and is truly a spectacular work of art and piece of history. It’s most striking feature is the altarpiece, which consists of twenty-five painted panels depicting the life of Mary. The altar was painted by Spanish Renaissance painter Rodrigo de Osona.

Bon Lloc in the village of Jesus is one of the options for dining. It is one of the oldest restaurants on the island and provides a delectable breakfast, lunch and dinner. The venue is usually full of locals so you know it’s good!

The Mediterranean menu consists of a range of tasty tapas and fresh fish. With outdoor seating, this is an ideal place to enjoy the lovely scenery from, but keep in mind that it can get a little noisy due to its main road location.
