The small village of S’Horta is situated on the main road between Cala d’Or and Porto Colom in the southeast of Mallorca. It has the protection of the mountains from behind with the Castell de Santueri on top. There is an excellent view down to the near sea, where you see the white houses of Cala d’Or which is one of the most important touristic centres with its wonderful marina and the many little beaches.
In S’Horta you will find a few bars, local shops, a bank and a large beautiful church where selected musical events are organized.
It’s located on the main road between Cala d’Or and Porto Colom. The village is overlooked by the ‘Castell de Santueri’, and most of the properties in and around the village look out over the sloping countryside to the sea.
Vall d’Or Golf course is only 5 min away. The capital Palma and the international airport are approx. 45 min drive away.
The east coast resort of Cala d'Or is one of the prettiest on the island of Majorca. Located in the district of Santanyi, Cala d'Or is about 65km (about 40 miles) from Palma International Airport.
Like many of Majorca's resorts, Cala d'Or has evolved from a small fishing village into a popular tourist resort, packed with bars, restaurants and shops, yet retains its picturesque qualities and authentic Mallorcan charm.
