Barbados is an extraordinary holiday destination for a family, group of friends and couples.
Being situated along the West Coast, you are certainly privileged to be within a quick drive of many of the island’s best beaches. These beaches are better suited for leisure activities, as they are shielded from Atlantic Ocean's swells. For this reason, you will see lots of holiday makers and locals sunning themselves on the velvet sands and taking to the water for reinvigoration.
The Colony Club Beach, known as Heron Bay Beach to the locals, is the closest beach to Windfall. These waters have an excellent display of marine life and coastal birds, so make sure to rent some snorkelling gear and take a water-based adventure during the day. There are several businesses that will allow guests to make the most of this striking seaside expanse and enable guests to rent equipment or of pay for day-trips.
Being close to Sugar Hill Estate and Apes Hill Polo Club, you and your guests will have an array of additional services to use. We recommend witnessing the famous Luxury Golf Course first hand. This 72 par, 7,060 yard, course has remarkably well-kept fairways and is surrounded by indigenous florae that you won’t have seen before. Golf enthusiasts won't want to leave...hopefully this won't drive a wedge between loved ones!
Holetown is the closest Town to Windfall and has everything you and your guests require for an unforgettable holiday. Holetown certainly has fine dining down to a tee! If you are keen for a Caribbean, Asian or even a European menu; you’ll find it here. During the evening, Holetown lights up and becomes a mini-hub for budding socialites. First & Second Streets are where you will be able to find some quirky bars that embrace the spirit(s) of the Caribbean. There are plenty of places which prepare a good Bajan Rum Punch, but instead enquire about a Zombie. Be warned, this is a drink for those with a strong palette…and stronger liver!
