Villa del Pinar is located in Cala Millor, a popular tourist destination on the stunning island, Mallorca. There is plenty to explore here if you’re interested in shopping you’ve got options! If you’re looking for a beach holiday, then Cala Millor has a remarkable option: Blue Flag Beach is 1.8 kilometres long!
It has pure white sand and clear blue waters, and even offers an array of water sports! Additionally, there are sunbeds so you can lounge on the beach, and bars so you can enjoy a drink. It’s a family friendly beach, with shallow and safe waters!
The coast of east Mallorca has plenty of opportunities for exploration! There are hidden caves in the area, such as the ‘Coves del Drac’ and ‘Coves des Hams’ which are nearby and can definitely help satisfy curiosity!
There are beautiful sightseeing spots in Mallorca, including Punta d’Amer which is a nature reserve and an old watchtower called Castel d’Amer. Grab a drink and enjoy the views! If you love animals, you can head to the Safari Zoo leisure park in Cala Millor which has plenty of animals!
Nearby is the historical town of Artá, which is overlooked by the fortified Santuari de Sant Salvador. The sanctuary and its walls were originally constructed in the 14th century but were rebuilt in the 19th century. The church features some fabulous artwork, and the sanctuary’s courtyard provides the perfect place to sit and soak up the views.
So, although Artá may not be touched by tourism, it does have plenty of history. Archaeological digs have unearthed some of Artá’s past through fibres that were found indicating that the traditional skills of basket weaving may be one of the oldest on the island.
